visit-relatives3

This group of photos shows the scene of my mom and me visiting grandma grandpa during
the epidemic. At that time, I had just returned home from a certain risk area. In order to
protect each other, we simplified the usual visiting ceremony. We didn’t enter the door, didn’t speak, and used simple and short body language to convey emotions. The different
personalities of grandma and grandfather are also reflected in these body movements. They
are trying their best to shorten the distance between us. The carpet representing safe access
has also become a measure of our distance. No matter what form relatives get together,
emotions can be conveyed.
